Everybody seems to be posting about winter weather going on at home. Well I'm home from my winter adventure so I'm back to some nice Socal "winter". It's like 48F right now here in San Diego and I've got a great sunrise to enjoy my expensive breakfast. Life is hard.

I have a bunch of friends in San Diego, they’ve been wearing winter jackets for this cold snap. It makes me laugh sitting at 0 degrees, but I totally get it.

Also, I love boats. Cool shot.

It’s been getting into the 30's in a lot of places where 60 was considered cold.

While I'm a native Californian I still haven't even turned on my heater, I just got out more blankets and deployed my wool socks.

A customer made me laugh the other day in accident, "It's like being back east." I had to excuse myself and go laugh my ass off. People in this state wonder why the rest of the country makes fun of us.

I’ve turned on my heat a few times. We have gradient heat in each room so at least I don’t have to heat the whole house. It makes waking up in the morning suck a little less haha

I’ve been freezing. Seat heater both too/from work and I ordered two jackets last week. LOL

The heater at my house is all or nothing, which is the only reason I haven’t turned it on. It’s stupid to heat the whole house when only two rooms are occupied.

I almost bought some space heaters, but then the electricity bill can shoot through the roof, so it wasn’t worth it. I already got an AC unit for my room.

Mine has doubled, but that just means it went from $50 to $100. And we split it so not that big of a deal. I would love an A/C unit for the one week a year when I need it. Maybe I can find one really cheap right now. *hmmm*

The concept of “not needing ac” is absurd to me over here in the valley hahaha. I definitely would survive just fine with no heat. We rarely use it and it’s usually to just warm up from 68 to about 70 on the coldest of days. But without AC it would be 90+ guaranteed in Jun-Oct . Frigging Chocolate would melt in the cabinets and shit lol.

It was humid as hell in San Diego. Was running the AC any time driving anywhere in the rental car. Coworkers were cold but I was hot. Lol Montana and shit whacked up my temperatures. Looking forward to SD again in two days for vacation this time. If it doesn't rain, it will surely be quite pleasant.

T he temperature gradient from the coast to just a few miles inland is truly insane. The P acific is a good heat-sink haha
